  3. Is it true that mancyclists shave their legs? That's ghey.
  4. White supremacist? No. But certainly superior to you.
  5. This is really neat coming from someone who lives in the whitest city west of the Cascade Crest and attended the whitest public university in the pacific northwest. Please! By all means, tell us how it is!
  6. I don't like to participate in threads like this. That this man spent a good part of his life seeking and discovering himself on Mount Hood is enough. As one with a comparable number of Hood climbs, all I can say is that this particular mountain has an aura all its own. Whether it be alpenglow on rime-encrusted Steele Cliffs, sheltering against a howling blizzard in the wind cirque at Illumination Saddle, standing on the top and watching the sun rise, stepping carefully along the corniced summit ridge above the Queen's Chair, the smell of sulfur, the roar of river cataracts, Hale-Bopp Comet on a star-filled night, tears for The White River Glacier, or reading a book about mountain adventurers here--long since passed--next to the big stone fireplace as a storm rages outside in the night. This place is magical. Even though I never knew you, I believe I understand you a little. I'll think of you when I'm there again.
  7. What does this mean? Who are her enlightened minions? Who said she was enlightened? Did anybody say anybody like her was enlightened? Your use of quotes makes it seem like you're referring to something specific. I don't get it. Actually, TESC had a very large memorial service that was attended by all the usual suspects. She was eulogized as a practitioner of peace. The record does not support this legacy.
  8. I hear her parents are trying to sue the manufacturer of the bulldozer (Caterpillar). It's not difficult to see where she acquired her lopsided world view.
  9. I was thinking more like assassinations, economic subversion, sabotage, talk radio--but if you really think holding hands will work...
  10. That guy was dumb too. There are better ways to stand up against a machine than standing up against a machine.
  11. Bicyclists=Jew haters? No. Cyclists and spoiled little girls who stand their ground against slow moving, motorized, steel-encased machines are just plain dumb.
  12. Reminds me of that Evergreen State Jew-hater that got run over by the bulldozer.
  13. I'll bet you could just out pedal those evil metal boxes. Uphill, even!
  14. It's almost like bringin' a knife to a gunfight.
  15. Doh! He left the 7-pin standing. Batter put it in reverse and try for a spare.
  16. Doood! That is so, like, baddassssss! You are a fuckin' machine. But I hear that too much time spent on a road bike can lead to, um, p-r-o-b-l-e-m-s with the ladies. Is it true?
  17. Here's Prole trying to convince one of those pesky landowners that the dream is alive:
  18. I'll bet he's got a home picked out for you and me as well:
  19. Wow, only two years old. ...and you never even brought it up.
  20. Wanna go in halves on one of these for next month's ride?
  21. But everyone in Prole's utopia is equal!
  22. I think dirty politicians should burn no matter which party they're in. Selective outrage: http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/05/21/jefferson.search/index.html
  23. I'm not sure why you think it's "awesome". It seems kind of sad all around--although leveraging a gift against a dubious business proposition is pretty low, IMO.
  24. Good thing you're only joking about killing people. Imagine if you were joking about burning down (empty) McMansion developments! Man, THEN you'd get the scorn of CC! Only thing is, you weren't joking.
