Here's a book for you: what's the matter with Kansas? Uh, yea, Matt, I heard the author of this book giving an interview on The Dave Ross Show on AM 710KIRO just this morning too. Aren't you the one always bashing "talk radio" ditto heads? --yet here you are, implying you've read a book that you clearly have not, and passing on KoolAid that you clearly like the taste of. You're a spoon fed Seattlite, for sure.

I call bullshit. You have statistics and a link? Bring the facts, jack. Liberals consider any type of corporate tax break a "subsidy".

Dude, I like climbed Mount Pete, like three times. Back-to-back...and unroped. And by three different routes!

Favorites: George Washington John Tyler Teddy Roosevelt Harry Truman Ronald Reagan Worst: Andrew Jackson James Buchanan Woodrow Wilson Franklin D Roosevelt Jimmy Carter

This was entirely rhetorical--and you know it. Obama's suggestion was a simpleton's answer addressed to simpletons. Finding more oil to decrease dependence of foreign supply is a good idea. So is nuclear. That depends on the mechanism used. I haven't heard any specifs from Obama. Come to think of it, I haven't even heard generalizations! Really? Please share your informed sources. Economists other than Krugman will do just fine. I havent heard it. Are you sure you're not just attaching your own ideals to all his talk of "hope" and "change"?

This is a given: If Obama loses, Matt will be one hundred percent certain that the election was rigged. He is not able to comprehend, much less consider, the well reasoned opinions of others.
-
Democrats callously discarded their most qualified candidate early on: Bill Richardson.
-
We're being asked to choose one over the other in November. Any thread about one's "qualifications" must be about both. Again; what makes Obama more qualified than McCain?
-
And Obama accomplished exactly what during his time in congress?
-
Bill Clinton just saw this and has declared that he is running for president again!

I had a hamstring graft ACL replacement in 1999. Climbed in Alaska 6 months post-op and consider the repair stronger than the natural knee. I have no pain or indication whatsoever that there was ever a procedure done. I had a great surgeon who was doing about 5 or six of these per week. A real arrogant bastard...who knew his shit.

no- nothing but mouth is your mom. i said if you really believe and challenge me go fuck a pig if you lose. can't you fucking read boy? I read English. Not the shit you try to write. I suppose you picked up your language skills while you were 'studying' at Madame Qwan's School of transsexual Massage? I've heard you don't write Polish very well either. Maybe you're just plain slow.

he managed to run out of fuel once and crash one into a power line another time. i am sure his judgment is not an issue. Are you ready to take the Fairweather challenge? One year, no spray and no replacement avatars says that McCain wins in November. You go away for one year. If Obama wins, I go away--1 year; spray/pirate/sensitivio forums only. (You can still post all your trip reports ) I think I know America better than you do. What do you say? I've offered this deal to Prole and TTK too, but no takers. Must accept in open forum. No PM's. are you so sure? let's do a deal, if you lose- you'll have to fuck a pig- how about that? i'll tape that and post it on youtube. deal? That's what I thought. You're nothing but mouth. Does your family back home know that you are massaging other men for money?

Rasmussen has him 43 versus 42 McCain. Before his big world tour he was ahead double-digits. Every time Obama opens his condescending mouth he loses so-called swing voters.

She's correct. uh, which part? that 11 mountaineers died on some peak she'd never heard of, or that women don't climb mountains? That climbing a big mountain like K2 (or any dangerous peak) serves no purpose and that "heroism" has better definitions already available. I think it was Mallory's son who recounted later in his life that as a boy he didn't understand or care that his father would be a climbing hero and legend--only that his dad never came home.

Huh? Every account I've ever read of his shoot-down indicates he was flying an A4 Skyhawk. Are you just makin' shit up again, Tvash? And "Flags of Our Fathers" is a Clint Eastwood movie about the American invasion of Iwo Jima and the aftermath of the famous photo of US Marines raising the flag. That'd be WWII--not Vietnam. Are you off your meds again?

Look at the Walter Reed Army Hospital debacle. That's what government health care would look like nation-wide. Re malpractice: Do you really think the government would hold itself accountable and avil itself to lawsuits? And the flip-side of those expensive tests you complain about are that they wouldn't be ordered under a cost-control environment--and people would die. edit: Medical expenses that exceed 7.5% of gross income are tax deductible. If you paid $8k .p. you must be doing pretty well financially.

Nationalized health care in Canada, Western Europe, etc, isn't "free" either. You do understand that, right? I know very little about the nationalized health care of other countries. What I DO know is that our healthcare/insurance system here in the United States is not working. It would be nice to see republicans at least admit that. I don't think you understand. No healthcare is free--anywhere. Somebody pays for it. My problems with any proposed single-payer/government controlled system lie not with any equity issues but, rather, with issues of freedom and control. The old Hillary-Care proposal would have put too much power in the hands of government. Are you really for that?

She's correct.

Chicago Democrats!...Like Barack.

All Americans do have access to health care via the ER. And that does suck, but most of the tools on this site support a government single-payer type system where the government has even more power over our lives than they already do. Didn't I see you kickin steps at almost 12,000 feet on Rainier just last month?

I'm going (D) because of all the free stuff I'll get when we finally tax 'da shit outta those filthy rich families that make more than $35,000 combined household income. Also, employment is overrated anyway, and I guess I didn't really need that 401k I've been saving all my adult life with Big Papa to take care of me. I also like the idea of sitting down at a table and singing Kumbaya with all those people we just "thought" we really bad. Being told what to say, think, and believe is, of course, necessary, and I guess I don't really need all the food I've been eating.
