Damn, kev, your grammar sucks! Kevbone is the prototypical liberal Democrat. You must show him your unqualified support. Embrace the bone!

WHY ARE YOU SUCH A RACIST FROG-HATING SWINE? THEY GAVE US THAT REALLY COOL STATUE YOU STUPID CUNT.
-
THE US IS SPENDING $85 BILLION TO ENTER THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY AND THIS IS ALL YOU CAN TALK ABOUT? YOU DON'T CONTROL THE CONVERSATION. PP DOES. THIS CLINTON APPOINTED DEMOCRAT ADVISER TO OBAMA WOMAN WHO BELONGS IN PRISON IS SET TO BECOME AG, OR EVEN AJ, AND ALL YOU CAN THINK ABOUT IS YOUR STINKING MONEY?
-
http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2008/09/jamie-gorelick-mistress-of-disaster.html She is supposedly Obama's top choice for AG if he becomes president. Just great.
-
I love it when the usual suspects use this classic fall back line--as if they've been balanced in their political critique all along, and this late-in-the-day admission will somehow grant absolution and restore order to their bizarre worldview.

Jamie Gorelick Even though she had no previous training nor experience in finance, Gorelick was appointed Vice Chairman of FNMA from 1997 to 2003. She served alongside former Clinton Administration official Franklin Raines, and earned over 26 million during her six years there. During that period, FNMA developed a $10 billion accounting scandal. [10] One example of falsified financial transactions that helped the company meet earnings targets for 1998, a "manipulation" that triggered multimillion-dollar bonuses for top executives. [11] Gorelick received $779,625. On March 25, 2002, Business Week interviewed Gorelick about the health of "Fanny Mae". [12] Gorelick is quoted as saying, "We believe we are managed safely. We are very pleased that Moody's gave us an A-minus in the area of bank financial strength -- without a reference to the government in any way. Fannie Mae is among the handful of top-quality institutions." [12] One year later, Government Regulators "accused Fannie Mae of improper accounting to the tune of $9 billion in unrecorded losses". Touch screen voting is bullshit. Optical scan/paper balloting like we have here in Pierce County is the way to go. (Although it looks like we're going 100% mail-in soon. I HATE absentee voting--talk about opportunities for fraud!) Also, having partisans as auditors (ie: King County) who answer directly to their political machines is ridiculous. Sam Reed seems to be an upstanding guy though. I'm not sure why you identify so easily with obscure conspiratorial books and authors, or why you attach any more credence to them than other sources. At the end of the day we all believe what someone else told us, and the only way to hold a truly valid opinion is to gather information from a variety of sources. I'm not sure you've done that. Do you have any details re the Ohio Secretary of State being imprisoned for malfeasance? I've never heard this. Also; have you ever heard of a group called ACORN? Check it out.

Cocksure. If McCain makes it to election day, he'll win.
-
"But other than that, how did you like the play Mrs Lincoln?" She suffered from severe clinical depression--just like FearAndGreed.
-
...and you're still spouting the same old conspiracy paranoia. Invested in the market? More than you imagine. Still not worried about the long term. Mortgage? No--paid it off years ago. All I worry about now are outrageous property taxes. Pope says you're an OK guy, so I'll take a step back and try to keep it civil if you're interested in doing the same.

Have you seen the latest numbers for WA? Dino Rossi has a solid lead and McCain has whittled Obama's lead from 17 points down to two or three. I'm not holding my breath, but who would have thought.
-
Just when you think this place can't go any lower...
-
"Cheater cheater cheater!!!! There's no way McCain can win. After all, I don't know anyone who is voting for him!" You're like an even dumber version of Tvash.

NEA and their state arms have supported Democrats for decades. I'm glad you're placing the blame for the state of American K-12 education squarely where it belongs.

My response to comrade Prole was tongue-in-cheek. While he would like to credit a cornucopia of social positives to twentieth century Democrats, I though it only fair to remind him that they seem to be regularly at the helm when war breaks out. Balance for his distortion. Ho Chi Minh's attempts to engage with America go all the way back to Woodrow Wilson's League of Nations debacle. If I recall, Wilson refused to meet with the man--you see, Woodrow was a bit of a racist...with a capital "D". I won't even address your idiotic assertions vis a vis the French (who were themselves flirting with communism at the time) and Eisenhower. Three of the four wars I listed were wars of American choice. But right or wrong, each of these choices was made by a Democrat--not to mention the firebombing of cities in Japan (and Dresden) by FDR, the subsequent atomic attacks by Truman, and the incompetently managed escalation in Vietnam by LBJ. It's pretty clear from your dissertation above that the extent of your knowledge of American history goes only as far as Professor Google allows. Maybe Ivan bestows some charitable tid-bits upon you from time to time too. By the way: It's Ho Chi Minh. Dumbass.

Hmmm. Yes, the Democratic Party is the American party of vitriolic hatred for every man, woman, and child on the planet. It's efforts over the last seventy years or so for something approaching full employment, affordable health care, an internationalist foreign policy, stewardship for the environment, etc., etc. ...And the WARS! Don't forget the Wars. Some, a result of their policies of appeasement, isolationism, protectionism, and idealism! WWI. WWII. Korea. Vietnam. Thanks Dems!

I'm actually much more interested in Porter's indignation than your rambling and indemonstrable accusations of racism. Hello? Is Porter really trying to say that it is unacceptable for someone to paint a political party with an ideology...unless it fits his worldview?
-
Insofar as this conservation here, tool. Are you this dense in real life too?
-
C'mon, Porter. When was the last time you called out someone on the left for using the same broad brush vis a vis Republicans? I suggest you take a look at some very recent thread titles.
-
Of course; the racism card. Liberalism is not tied in any way to race. Please don't try to hide beneath cover to which you are not entitled or hurl accusations that aren't true.
-
If you listen to the pundits on both sides, this election is the war. But I agree; we're in a bit of trouble.
-
I now have absolute proof that liberals are full of venomous hatred for America, women, and the elderly.

The above quote was just pasted into my lib-hate collage.
