Right now the poll shows the same as the responses on the other thread, Capricorns and Leos. Leos strong leaders!

Hot buttered rums. Make my own batter. Except it isn't very cold or rainy or snowy here right now. In fact it is quite nice and sunny.

Michelle, that would be Leo the Lion, but I do like the sign of the bent coat hanger.

This would be a mad bull!

Holy shit, saw some video on the news of somebody in an SUV hit off a car, slide down the hill, doing a 360 in the process, slide thorough an intersection and come to rest in a yard. Seattle be gettin' some serious snow eh.

I've seen the green flash a number of times. It helped I used to ship all over the Pacific. As was mentioned there needs to be a clean, sharp horizon. The Aurora Borealis was awesome when I was in Alaska. The new pictures from Mars are spectacular.

It's from MacTarnahans Brewing Company. Anybody tried it yet?

correction: they stop you and ask you if you have any fruit. the answer is no, and you proceed on your way. I'm confident you could drive up to the checkpoint in a washington apple truck and they would let you through with that answer. Even before Ahnold, the latest budget down here has most of the fruit / vegetable asking sites closed down. Bring me your ripe, home grown fruits, waiting to be consumed. Don't bring our cows though!

Yeah, but there's no snow and you have a 6WD vehicle. Great Job NASA. keep the pics coming and good luck with the rest of the "journey".

There is an expression, "hindsight is 20 - 20." But in an attempt to be PC, we often do not look at the historical perspective in which things are written or named. Does the name of a school really have an affect on kids attitudes? I would be willing to bet, sadly even at schools named after really famous people, that many students couldn't tell you much about that person. If a locality wants to change the name that is their perogative. As stated before it should not become a national issue. If people were really smart they could teach the kids about the name and history and let them decide, especially a high school. Get the kids involved in learning history and use it as a civics lesson.

The Life-Link lexan blade with the t-grip has worked well for me. Digging a snow cave once and hit a layer of ice. Just busted out the ice axe to break it up and back to the shovel.

Did anyone else find the disparity between the beginning of the article and ending interesting? Start says cow was from Canada. End says if it was from Canada. My paper this morning says it is suspected the cow was from Canada but records, both feed and sales of animals, are fuzzy and it will take some time to unravel.

The latest flap concerning the South and slavery has risen concerning school names. Please dicsuss

Santa on vacation
-
Now I won't get my new toys!

Does Santa have a special radar signature, with the elevated terror alert, so he will not be mistaken for a terrorist and have planes scrambled or worse yet have missles fired?

Cool, but I'll still take regular bubbles in my beer. The "recipe" tells how to make antibubbles with soap. Any thought / suggestions on how to do it with beer? Do you need some flat beer, because pouring , even slowly, causes the beer to form regular bubbles.
