  1. My only experience was with a pretty hot lady that was working at the marblemount one. I recall a friend looking down her shirt
  2. They were jokingly made because I personally think your question is stupid as fuck to be honest. I would never rap from 6mm gemini or whatever lines period. So go out there and get some 6mm lines to rap and have fun. I have seen the likes of an idiot once try to rapell from his stinking gear loops Also be noted that I never personally made insults to you. Like calling you a dumbass etc. -Cpt [This message has been edited by Cpt.Caveman (edited 06-25-2001).]
  3. PencilDude, Classic utterly classic that I hear of Mt Stuart storms as I have been over there to climb the north ridge so many times and been stormed out miserably on all of them. Ha! I hope everyone is safe though. -Cpt
  4. Bronco we aint tree huggers anyways. Where is that arborist? Hey also is this tree on your property??
  5. Yeah I am not saying anything other than there are other ways than he chose to go about it. Thanks Nerd.
  6. Do they now have brown stains in them?

AlpineK that cracked me up keep em coming. Mikeadam we need to link up with Bronco and get some BFGs and hunt down those Grizzlies eh?! We can bait them easily I need a new rug. -Cpt ==> no tree hugger here
  9. Rock On Simon and have a great time!
  10. A note to airmoss, I think that D took note of your awareness to his dangers. Climbing Mtns is sometimes all about taking calculated risks out there. Many parties choose to do so... To slander D on a public board in your smart ass fashion is low. Seek counseling -Cpt
  11. Should I take falls on lead while tied into them?
  12. How about gear loops can I tie into those?
  13. I always thought around the neck mit hemp rope was the standard.
  14. Specialed, I know you are in one of these pics
  15. Hmm interesting as I did not make personal insults directed to you. I was confused as why you felt compelled to insult me.
  16. http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/ubb/Forum23/HTML/000053.html Wee saw your comments before they were erased.
  17. Specialed, I personally would frown upon using anything but a conventional rope. But if you had to do it I bet you could work through the difficulties of the rope gunslingin through the rap device if you had gloves. But maybe not too. So in general I don't think it would be accepted practice. However who knows I could be full of shit and maybe in the Beckey days when they tied the ropes to thier dongs and lead 5.8 cracks in all star converse they did it once or 20 times.... -Cpt [This message has been edited by Cpt.Caveman (edited 06-22-2001).]
  18. Just looking from the outside here but hey Pope why do you give a shit if someone bolts the choss? Also if you are so a gainst bolts have or do you currently clip them? Again why are you not on a vengeance chopping spree? What do you rap from (meaning shame on you for rapping from bolts or pins) Also, you have some interesting topics to say the least but sometimes you are just plain ole full of shit. I love the entertainment keep it up!

  20. Damn Pope gets punked?
  21. I take a dook just before starting any hard climb it helps but is not always the sure ticket that I will do well on a given route.
  22. Tim you are correct about the injuries part. But I eat grizzly meat for breakfast. Yum!! Yum!!
  23. I have in the past but not anymore. I think it is fine as long as you are not risking anyone's health but your own. As far as rescuing etc well anyone can get hurt at the crags. All of the people I see do it are in control and I would not consider irresponsible. It is indeed a pure form of climbing that can reap some rewards that only the soloist may get but I prefer the safety of my ropes bottom line. Plus I am fatter nowadays and it is harder for me to pull down

    Do you toke up?

Pratt was one of my heroes. The guy had a hard time with Offwidths in his younger years so he went off to JTree and climbed every one he could find so he could get good at them when he had to climb them on the bigger routes. Cracks me up too
  25. And the Toddster gets riled about internet chat.
