  1. fishsticks for dinner
  2. Erik your heart is too soft. Go get laid before you turn into a woman
  3. Hey Mattp, I've seen plenty of people here with superiority type comments. If I was looking to "tag" someone with them then it would be easy to do but I am not. I bet I could nail you on one if I tried. But I am not into that sort of game playing right now. Let's get real.
  4. I'll say it- Get a job scott you wank. Either that's over 38,000$ or over 3,000$ your asking for. Gimme a fucking break! Domain Name Registration $20 Annual Hosting $164.45 Annual Imaging and Photography 20 hrs/month $800* Web Design 40 hrs/month $2,400*
  5. What a bunch of wankers! I am sure you blowhards who like messing with Scott so much are barely able to climb a rock pitch harder than him and all the time talk as if you are something special. In a couple years you'll be begging him to be your rope gun! Who cares if I did ro did not really climb any harder?.. it's not the point. Just because someone can scale a rock or something better than me does not make him or her not open to criticism. You don't see other people asking for money because they are too lazy to get out and find a job. I don't beg people to be a ropegun. I only climb with people I can get along with. As far as his site asking for funds doesn’t frequent poster Cascadeclimber's site Mtn Community .org ask for something similar? Doesn't RC.com? You guys are ignoring the facts to get a cheap shot in at Scott. I am sure Scott set up his site imagining it to become more than it has. The request for funds page has been up for as long as I can remember with virtually no updates. It is clearly not a big part of the sight. I have looked up trips on his site and not ethat after his Observation Rock TR a lot of CC.comers made that climb their goal. I climbed the O Rock and knew about it before he posted his photos. It's not like he discovered it. There are plenty other sites not asking for money. I wont bother to name them since it's not necessary... I am not ignoring facts to get a cheap shot. Scott comes on line with his own hint of arrogance and disdain for people here blatantly and sometimes unsolicited. True Scott's site is limited to his own adventures but think about what a Frankenstein blend of CC.com and NWOG.org would be like. CC.com's BB combined with a series of TRs in the NWOG style and short clips would be the BEST bloody site on the web. How great would it be if Scott helped to create the non-BB part of this site! This would make me puke. I dont want to hear about anyone getting hape while climbing mt si. [ 11-01-2002, 10:20 AM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]

  7. There is no water ice here. We only offer bushwacks, avalanche slopes, slogs, and slurpee forms.
  8. The first smart thing you did was climb on granite. The second smart thing was to clip the shitty old piton anyway. Everyone gets humbled. It's all about getting back up and trying it again. Climbing is not for the weak or faint hearted. PS Keep climbing granite. It's the shit
  9. Someone bring some jugs (*)(*)..... of whiskey
  10. Bring a shield and I'll bring the KGB
  11. Hey jackass try picking up your phone and calling instead of typing here first. I am off to Baker tomorrow morning. Join up.
  12. Some areas need groundwater or snowmelt.
  13. I think if Scot'agonia or Trask post there is or soon will be spray.
  14. What can I say.
  15. I think it's funny when people make fun of scott. He is asking for it. Also I will continue to encourage it.
  16. Probably because there is a new model coming out.
  17. I think if rock is 5.6 or below it's not rock climbing.
  18. I got light machines. I look forward to sticking my ice axe in your skull and chest.
  19. quote: Originally posted by jaee: So, Tex, what you're saying is ski mountaineering isn't worth discussing here because of the ski part. I suppose you're right Have you read Lowell Skoog's trip report on the North Face of Buckner in a day? It's in the rec.climbing archives. I'd say that was a good days work. If skis suck, and walking rules, howabout putting up some cash that says you can do the North Face of Buckner from the trailhead (via Bostin Basin & Sharkfin Col) in 12.5 hrs. Sound fair? Put up or shut-up I don't think Tex would have any problem with that. Plus I think he's yankin' your chain too
  20. I've taken an over 70 year old ice climbing. He didn't seem to have much of a problem keeping up. I dont think much skill is needed until you are leading WI4 to be honest. You could bash and thrash your way up anything easier than that.
  21. I don't see any superiority complex with what Mitch wrote. I just see a bunch of pansy ass pussies that likely wont be able to follow him around for a day on some of the thing's he's done and can do. Furthermore he never put anyone down just stated his interest only in steep ice climbing. Since some of you can't read then maybe you should check out Hooked on Phonics
