  1. I allways learned that you should take turns, have a meeting point away from the run out zone, and watch eachothers backs should the slope fail in back country situations. If I see some dude standing around I make sure his beacon is on and he knows whats up. Poaching a line in bounds though is open season, if you can catch me
  2. Its amazig what you can do without tools! Hand jams in ice rock!
  3. Colecovision- Time Pilot The Smurfs Sega- Shinobi Nintendo- Contra Just a couple...thought of them for a minute today for some weird reason
  4. yeah, all that shit sounds like alot of work...I'll paythe 60 bucks...if they last a season I am happy...a good pair of gloves is key. carolyn, I learned to ice climb in mittens...placing screws and all that in them. But I found that my hand get less cold in a thin glove for some reason. I keep mits clipped on the back of my harness for the belays.
  5. BD drytool gloves are like $60 also, these are way better...much warmer.
  6. This gloves rock! I used it in Banff in 0-20 degree temps and they were warm. Thin, flexible, pretty waterresistant, and the palm has this sticky type leather stuff. Two thumbs up Only complaint, the stitching seems a little weak. Link
  7. turns out the BD vipers fit just fine into the WildThings Ice Sac tool tubes...

  9. Anyone wanna go? I can drive up from Ashland on the Fri the 19th. Only catch is that I can't bring you back to Seattle. Need to pick up the wife at Vancouver Airport for some skiing. Basicaly I'm hard up for a partner. Gotta pretty good tick list to work on....i.e. forget the Rambles or Marble Canyon. Ropeguns welcom but not necescary, if you can follow WI4-5s then we'll have some fun.
  10. Nice photo Lowell, Did some full moon powder trips in Bozeman a while back...one on mushrooms....very surreal, highly recomended...you never realized fesh snow crystals reflect so many colors! Last year Fitz and I climbed Oregon Jack in the full moon, after driving 8 hours and drinking 20 Red Bulls each. It was pretty chalanging...but the next day was shot, just did a couple laps at Marble. Not a bad way to do it if you can't wait until saturday to climb!
  11. If any of you guys wan't to hit the Wallowas some weekend, let me know...I'll drive up and meet ya

    ICE

Are you trying to infer that we are not really so called "climbers" Never heard of Sea ice, but I have heard pack ice reffering to the ice on the sea....
  13. Marble Canyon is only about 45min-1hr from Kamloops.
  14. You know I'm a fat guy right? You sure you can handle it?
  15. Link Some cool pics
  16. Jealous My vote for the three best Lilooet Routes would be Shriek, Loose Lady, and Carlsberg. Based on pumpyness and scare factor. The Tube was fun, but too short to make the top three. But there are still lots of routes that I have yet to get on....
