the forecast still only shows a 30% chance of precip. compare that to squamish's 90% and index's 70/80% ... so, 70% chance of NO precip. those are pretty good odds.

at ff you often get attitude. (pretty common experience among several people i know.) pro mountain sports carries some great strap crampons and they have experience (and/or customers) wearing them on lightweight boots and *GASP* even trail runners. i've worn crampons on timberlands before. they were ankle boots that definitely weren't meant for mountaineering or even backpacking really, but somehow i survived and had a great time to boot.

or go kayaking. or mountain biking. or shopping for nutcrackers.

don't we always hurt the ones we love? or something like that? hope to see some of y'all in l-worth ...

yep ... #1 is definitely creepier but it really depends on the circumstances. always google potential partners - sometimes you can find out some very neat stuff about a person that can lead to interesting conversation. googling can be fun!

the current forecast is at 30% chance of precip both days. (last time i was in l-worth, it said 60% and although we saw some dark clouds we never saw a drop of precip.) this 30% is up from yesterday's weekend forecast, though ... regardless, ich werde da sein. not sure what i'm going to climb yet but i'm anxious to get on some granite!

thigh-high leather boots --> for women ... lederhosen --> for men ...

look at forecasts for leavenworth, wa - it is a city, and you can at least find it on weather.com. it tends to be pretty dry there, but - as always - you go at your own risk. this weekend is maifest. bring your lederhosen!!!

what they don't tell you, though, is whether they taste any good!
