Actually my pub club has now shrunk to only two people, and yes that is including myself.... but my burger is almost done! Kiss it suckas!

Here I was looking forward to pub club tonight. After a rousing spell at Index, and not seeing ANYONE else in the parking lot at 8:30 ::cough:: ::cough:: BRONCO I decided to head back here to make a late appearance at the regular Pub de Club. I log on, and discover 5 threads continuing the endless debate of location. End result? I have no clue where to go, the Duchess or the East side..... hmm... lets see... hmmm.... well the only logical choice is to crack open a brew in here and make myself a burger on the ol' stovetop! Because, DA-YAMN I'm hungry, and I'd rather cook something than risk going to the wrong place. There's always next week!

Alpine Kitty isn't going to like the competition. You might find cat prints on your windshield or a furball in your front yard for comments like that.

Where exactly is the money from the fee demo program going? It is my understanding that the country's forest service and wilderness management branches of the government are vastly underfunded. If they were using the money in a constructive way, I have no problem shelling out the clams for access. If they're using it to buy hookers and beer, however, I'm against it.

I think I'm in line with mattp and greg on this one. I'm certainly willing to support wilderness programs and such, but I don't want to pay outragous fees left right and center. I'm poor, after all, poor! True, I already pay taxes for everything, but I can't say I mind paying taxes either. From what I've read in the paper and magazines etc., land management agencies are underfunded, so I'll give 'em a five or something. But no higher! Fee-demo needs revision, not elimination. Perhaps we could put the designated location for the pub clubs on the calendar every month, (i.e. seattle, tacoma, east side) and thus settle the bickering that happens every week just a little bit more? Once the neighborhood question gets settled nobody seems to dispute the venue to much. Consensus is in order!

It sounds like the official Pub Club Prank Night is in full swing! Flaming bags o' poo, eggs, flying beer bottles, you name it! Juvenile destruction is the name of the game, so if your on a bike, pedal for your life! The disgruntled cc.com drinkers are headed YOUR way!

Disabled access? 1500 miles of trail? Seems like constructive uses to me, I'm willing to shell out the green for that. Reduced usage? Mixed feelings on that one. On one hand, the less people out there, the better, but on the other, I think the world would be a better place if everyone got outside once in awhile. I'd definitely need to learn more about this before formulating my opinion though. danke caveman, but I have the day off and am spending at Index as it is, if there are going to be any other people out there enjoying a beverage or two in the parking lot, I'll stay and pretend I'm sitting in that old bus/van thing that isn't there anymore. If thats a no-go, I'm all for showing up late wherever pub club is.
