Yes all you at Pub Cluib are missing out on a damn fine chili tonight! 1/2 cup dry navy beans 1/2 cup dry little black beans In saucepan boil with water until all water boiled away but before beans burn. Now add 4 small red peppers (remove seeds and tops) 1 or 2 enormous large fresh tomatoes (from vine best or hydroponic) spices in large pinches: cumin, coriander, chili powder, cayenne, paprika, black pepper spices in small pinches: curry powder, nutmeg, salt shots of ketchup, HP, soy sauce, Jagermeister (normally I put beer in but I'm outa beer) simmer for 20 minutes while spraying or talking on phone Eat with organic blue corn chips Serves 4 or (with leftovers for lunch) 1 hungry sprayer for 4 days. no offense jens, but I think you have travertse and enchainment backasswards.... you can ENCHAIN the 6 classic north faces but you can't do that on a traverse... ENCHAINMENT is a linking of multiple routes or summits. a TRAVERSE is following a ridge crest over one or numerous summits...as in, a traverse of stuart, up the N riodge and down the E ridge, would be a good way to start off a traverse of stuart range finishing on dragontail...

hey josh next time you go into a gear store, you know the stores where they sell CLIMBING GEAR, stop staring at the salesgirl's tits for a minute, and look around, maybe then you will actually be able to say you have laid eyes on a bouldering mat. As for me, I've laid more than eyes on them

no its just there is nothing you need to wedge toe-tips in. its almost all hands and wider. pretty painful in slippers!

i place #4 camalot on both 1st and 2nd p of st vitus and you could easily place 2 if you took 2. that said i think it's more of a 5.8 route than a 5.9 route, compared to snake or sparrow it feels way more solid. but it is harder than calculus, diedre and banana peel (all basically 5.7s despite the guidebook)

The best sub 5.10 climb on the apron is SNAKE there are 5 good pitches on that one!

solo diedre late in the day just before you go home c 7Pm in summer and see if any bumblies left booty behind. round trip from apron parking lot will be about 45 minutes. only down side is it will be hottest then with evening sun and a days worth of gumby spooge on the holds..

there is a nice 10a route called passing lane on the slab about 5 m right. of the dihedral pitches bypass parties on lower pitches by doing straight up (short sec of 5.9 slab 35m out, no pro) or diedre direct (5.9 1 bolt) - see guide book for details.

You should only do Diedre at night or between 7 PM- 7 AM anyways. Any other time will be like Uncle Tricky's TR.

i made it to level 20 something with a score of 2622 a few weeks back!

there is going to be no water from bottom to top of the ~22 pitch route and the climbing is probably be gonna be too hard to send all 22 pitches in a day; hence we plan for a bivi and at least a day and a half on the wall. will hopefully be water not far from summit, and definitely at base; might just drink-up at base and drag 2 L/person but the climbing (or jugging harder pitches for me) is gonna be pretty thirsty work - a sunny east face at least.
