All the times I practiced crevasse rescue in student rec centres, abandoned lecture halls, back alleys, and on the balcony of Keiths Hut I was never able to actually understand what I was doing. But when I went aid climbing I was like "Holy shit1 This Z-pulley really works when you are hauling! These ascenders are way better than prussiks!" So I'd say forget about the crevasse simulator and just go do a 2-pitch aid climb. The fundamentals are the same and it will be more fun.

but has it been climbed? i don't have my beckey guide that well memorized. if not who wants to do it??? if it has what does it go at?

MEC was fucking intense today. Someone was buying a WHOLE RACK at the climbing counter. How many times do you see that? Usually its just someone buying a harness or shoes. But noooo, this guy had to compare EVERY BRAND OF CAMS MEC CARRIES! It took like 30 minutes before I could get thru to Weeder at the counter and hassle him about his climbing-preventing injuries (which were incurred HIKING! what a looser lol)
