That is one hell of a ski strap, might have weighed about 18 ounces? I don't think I really gave a shit back then about weight either. That was 02 and we spent the night below the lunch counter after hiking in 5 miles to the TH. I think my pack was 50 lbs or something totally dumb. Like those purple Tua's and my bandana that I should have used as a kite to get off that hill? AT keast I was sporting one of the first Arc'Teryx softshell pants.....Is that a fuckin Bora 80 on my back?

Must have been the North Ridge of Mt Baker in a day with skis. The descent was down the C/D so that was easy. Just a long 21 hours after starting at midnight. Good timing for the corn though.......

This sucks. I am very sad for her family and friends. I worked PT for her for almost a year. Good company, but she was the one that made it so great.
