I noticed this while climbing Monday, image189.jpg anything to worry about?

 

Also has anyone tried the petzl screw sharpener on bd screws?

I have the petzl screw sharpener and i think it is brilliant. Yes, it will slightly change the angle on the BD screws, but it makes them very sharp, and as long as you use the sharpener evenly on all 4 teeth it doesnt matter. I noticed no difference placing them after the angle had changed, other than a sharp screw that started easy :moondance:

Here's what's up with your harness: The loop is probably no less safe, looking like that, than it was the day you walked out of REI with it.

 

But where do we draw the line? Visible fraying on nylon products is a good place to do it.

Looks like an Arc'teryx harness. I had one that did the same thing at the end of the outside loop of the belay loop. You might call the manufacturer. I just assessed it myself and chose a simpler option—which involved some scissors and a lighter.
