The Teanaway is serious sledneck territory this time of year. They usually shut off the road where the pavement ends to make it a sled trail. But yeah, you might want to call anyway. Here's the number: (509) 674-4411 Â In my mapbook, the road to Ingalls trailhead is no. 9737 (North Fork Teanaway River). It is likely you won't get much past Beverly Campground, which is about 5 miles before the Ingalls trailhead. Â N by NW is right about the slednecks on that road. I once got my car stuck in the snow there. A few of them motored by, gave us dirty glares, and kept on going. No stopping to help the automobile driver in distress. We got out eventually. North_by_Northwest Posted January 10, 2003 Share Posted January 10, 2003 I tried to drive down the sled trail once in my rig. I was real set on climbing Ingalls in winter. Things went fine until I stopped 20 feet into the trail, then I heard my tires slowly crunching and sinking through the crust. I backed out under similar glares from the sledders.
