Second I apologize if there is a thread for this some other place, I could find one. SO... Why is there not a "climbing gym" in Bellingham? I know that the Y has a wall and so does WWU but why is there not a dedicated climbing gym? Was there at some point? Has it just not happened yet? (maybe someone is working on it?) Looking at the gallery pics of this new outfit coming to town looks pretty upscale for da Ham. Might have to wash my car. Washing would ruin the Whatcom County vibe. I heard rumors there were plans to put in a climbing gym a few years ago in the old sunshine liquidators building, but somehow that never materialized.
