shaoleung
Does anything stay dry at 32 with rain?
Buckaroo
There's more dry routes at 32 than anywhere else on the west side, only at the world wall though. From 5.9 to 5.13, at least a dozen routes.
Farrgo
Yes, but not as much as I had heard. I went up a couple weeks ago when it had dumped all day and found that there were only a couple routes mid-12 and down that we're dry/or at least dry in the crux. I'd go if your excited, but if your short on time, spend it elsewhere.

DPS
There is a really dry spot at exit 32, you just have to drive a bit further to Cle Eleum, catch HWY 97, then HWY 2 to a crag called Leavenworth. Driest spot at exit 32.
boadman
Depending on how hard it's raining, the belayer may or may not be getting wet. Chronic is generally climbable with some level of suffering all year round.
Jens
Go to Fossil Rock.
boadman
I think I've seen you espousing the virtues of fossil rock on here before. When I look at it on mp.com it looks pretty limited. Are there more quality routes there than are shown?
Drederek
Go to Fossil, write up a TR and tell us what you think. Among its other virtues Fossil is indeed dryer by far than index or the exits.
shaoleung
Go to Fossil Rock. Got a bead on a topo?
obwan
Go to Fossil Rock. Got a bead on a topo? It'll take some effort - look around for the small guide book by M. Ford & J. Yoder "Rock Climber's Guide to: Fossil Rock". the 2nd edition was dated April 1996 published by Homepress. It has some good route topo.
