Dr_Flash_Amazing Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 Chris Sharma is a baaaaad man. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 Check this bad ass dude out. Much cooler if you ask me Let's see sharma do that. Quote
Dr_Flash_Amazing Posted September 30, 2002 Author Posted September 30, 2002 Yeah, of course the guy who onsighted Excellent Adventure (.13b, is it?) with almost no other trad climbing experience probably couldn't figure out how to swing some ice tools. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 I dont think you got it right bro. Alien and Excellent adventure are far apart. Like I said he'll be bad ass when he's on WI6 R haha. Quote
iain Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 The question being would those placements have held a twinkie on the bungled onsight. Sounded sketch to this hombre. Quote

David_Parker Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 Hey Cave, is that Ice Nine on the Parkway? Just curious? Quote
glen Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 Comment: Go Chris. There are a lot of good climbers out there. The reason I respect Sharma is that he has managed to remain a cool guy despite influences that would expand most people's egos out of control. Even after Chris became well known and sponsored, he stil climbed with his high school buddies and maintained (at least by his actions) a focus on climbing and enjoying it over chasing down numbers. How many of his sicko boulder problems has *he* actually graded? None that I've heard of. The approach is more important than the medium. Although, it would be interesting to see what he could do with a set of tools. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 yep For what it’s worth, Seth Shaw places a screw on Nine (WI 6 X), Alberta. Photo by Cameron Lawson Quote
Dru Posted September 30, 2002 Posted September 30, 2002 its good to see sharma's year long abstinence from the green bud has not adversely affected his climbing ability. i was woried he might suffer. Quote
