Portland Timbers

I'm not a big soccer fan (I've never been to a pro game ever). I watched a little Euro soccer when I was on a trip over there and watched a little world cup action with the vevuzulas. The Timbers are joining the MLS...should be a good rivalry.

As my football coach in high school often said "soccer is popular in communist countries" :laf: It would make sense Portland and Seattle have pro teams

yeah well it isn't American. we have our own FOOTBALL, which we throw with our hands. it makes more sense that way! And the dudes get to wear tights, which makes way more sense then wearing shorts.

I'm really stoked to have the Timbers as an MLS team. I follow Everton (English League) religiously and am excited to have a "home" team to support, and even more excited to get up there for a few match weekends.

Wish they had Aussie Rules Football here. No tights, no helmets or pads. Smear the queer. A few punters in the NFL have come from there. They aren't like a typical P in the NFL, they'll get in there and lay out the return man. The Celtic game of hurling is fun to watch too.
