tvashtarkatena Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 They edited out the part where it was pushed out of the back of a pickup truck. I'm actually not joking. The producers aren't gonna pay a camera crew, guides, and The Thing From Wasilla to run around the muskeg looking for something to shoot. Standard procedure for game farmers. Raise them in a paddock, drug them for transport, truck them to the site, dump them out, and BAM! That'll be $5,000, thanks. Quote

j_b Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 After having their choice for president prove to be one of the biggest losers in recent history the Left, should pause, pull its head out of J_B's ass, and rethink its basic understanding of the world. Yeah, we'll just paint everything blue and talk backwards... I just wish I had been smart enough to see that Obama had 'commie sympathies'. freakin morons! Quote

prole Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin today gave Sarah Palin both barrels over her US TV reality show, accusing the 2012 Republican presidential nominee contender of shooting an animal "for political gain". Sorkin, writer of the recent Facebook movie The Social Network, also accused the Fox News contributor of making a "snuff movie" after the latest episode of Sarah's Palin's Alaska featured the politician going hunting with her father and shooting a caribou. He described Palin as "deranged", a "witless bully" and a "phony pioneer girl". He also said The Learning Channel, the US cable network, "should be ashamed of itself" for broadcasting her "truly awful reality show". "I don't watch snuff films and you make them. You weren't killing that animal for food or shelter or even fashion, you were killing it for fun. You enjoy killing animals," Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Just her way of gettin Pa in on the take. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Ive got a better shot at the GOP nomination than Palin at this point. Quote
prole Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 Sarah Palin is bigger than politics or celebrity now. She's a living embodiment of 21st century America. She is our Columbia, our Brittania, the personification of who we are as a people. Embrace and adore our Fuhr-chen, keep her close to your heart and protect her. Quote

rob Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Hmm, Artemis was quite chaste, and her companions were virginal. I'm thinking more along the lines of Athena in the Helm. Quote
prole Posted December 8, 2010 Author Posted December 8, 2010 Evoking myth, emotion, and exhilaration in place of reason and compassion are characteristic of the fascist aesthetic and are used to great effect in mobilizing populist sentiment. Doesn't really matter whether she has clothes on or not, maybe you just represent the "potential crossover vote". Quote
