on a fine fall day, blustery w/ a hint of cold, ditching the frost and fog of camas, we went up the south side via the corner/youngwarriors, continued to the summit via the trail, then rappelled down the n side from the true summit to the parking lot via stooooone soup :) THEY SAID IT COULDN'T BE DONE! had thought of doing it for awhile now as i can't imagine it'd ever been done in the past, encompassing beacon's true summit being the bitchy bit - so nice, though the fixed ropes squeak now when you rap on them, and that in addition to the fact that my reverso is as sharp as the devils wit and greedily shaves the kermantle sure made me feel not so very happy in my bathroom areas :P

 

no pix, so no tr - bummer....

Change out that Reverso you goon! We can't lose you. You are a REAL knuckle head. And if you go they will know that there is really something wrong with me. Stay safe. Love a bro.

ivan, you should do a girdle around beacon, except for the closed portion.

you mean the 2 closed portions? :)

nice - really is stupid short, but the last part to the anchor is good fun - if only the rest of the climb wasn't bitch aid - did you do the tr next to it as well?
