Trip Report:

So I never in a million years would have published a trip report for a South sister Climb in the summer time, but when my 6 year old son makes it to the top of Oregon's 3rd highest peak, I figured it deserved a post and a shout out....

 

What a day...clear and windless....and a good time had by all.

seriously awesome, way to go! My 3.5 year old floored me this summer when he lasted the duration of a 3+ mile all-uphill hike, so I am looking forward to posting "lame" TRs of his climbing prowess in the next few year!!

Amazing! I took my 9 year-old nephew to the top of Mt. Si, and I only had to carry him for about 2/3 of the way, explaining constantly that this was reality, and that we couldn't simply change channels.

Wow, that's some serious determination for a 6-year old!

 

That was my first summit too, but I was 12.

Having been there to see it, I have to say he is one determined little guy! I was shocked when I saw the two of you coming across the caldera!
