telemarker Posted March 22, 2010 Author Posted March 22, 2010 I am a bit bummed about missing the 2nd couloir but not bummed about the 4 raps to get through it! Quote
cbcbd Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 You dudes get it done! Nice work on the 1st descent and cool meeting you guys on the way out. btw, we botched the approach and never did find Glacier peak, but next time we'll get to it for sure, thanks for the beta! Quote
telemarker Posted March 23, 2010 Author Posted March 23, 2010 Doug, that sucks! But no worries. The Reid Headwall will always be there for ya! Â Did you find any goods up there Sunday? Quote
telemarker Posted March 24, 2010 Author Posted March 24, 2010 Photo from Chmnyboy of us coming down the north face. It adds a little scale to the scene. Â Quote
Tom_Sjolseth Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 We climbed the route today. The runnels are not in ice form, but could be an interesting drytool problem. They looked climbable to me, but it would be better to wait until the ice forms fat. As it was, I thought it was a mediocre route. Quote
pms Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 Bitchin, thanks for raising my heart rate. I don't suppose DH was wearing one of those helmet cams on this one? I just love that stuff. Â Â Quote
TeleRoss Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 I thought I saw a helmet-cam video of someone skiing it, not sure where I saw the video though pretty rad Quote
kevino Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 So did you guys celebrate by eating oysters? I found some oyster shells on the eight mile TH. Quote
pms Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 what do you mean you thought you saw one? maybe you saw this. Â Do you remember the look Rob Harris gave asking if you'd heard that someone had skied the 3C's. Kind of like the look I gave him years ago when he told me that he and Gordon had skied the Cannon Couloir. Neat to see all the skiing going on. Quote
TeleRoss Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Yeah this is the one cool stuff. That was pretty funny with Rob....good times. Lots of cool skiing going on...nice to see people gettin after it ...back to the beach for me Quote
YocumRidge Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 I am a bit bummed about missing the 2nd couloir but not bummed about the 4 raps to get through it!  Next time do get one of these rigs:  [video:youtube]B-mmG1L74Yw&feature=related  Quote

YocumRidge Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Ça ne devrait pas être un problème. Tu avez de nombreux mentors sur ce forum.  Quote
telemarker Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 True! I'm sure an experienced smoker out there would be willing to step up and show me the ropes. Quote
Dirtyleaf Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 John. I would be more than willing to be your mentor in the art of smoking and the newest and most popular trend of extreme cig butt littering. I'd be honored. Quote
telemarker Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 Thanks Geoff! And maybe Lord Albert Winchester can give a clinic on pipe smoking and how to get laid. Quote
Kyle_Flick Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 What happened to coolness of this post? Now it's succumbed to drivel. Oh silly me, it caught the cc.com syndrome. Quote
