WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Gear Closets...Lets see em

Jeebus Bill, I had no idea. If I'd only known sooner how much help you needed I would have been there for you. But you know, I have my own problems, I just thank god they are at least somewhat under control compared to yours. Now when I dig through my meager pile of shit I'll be grateful and think about those poor souls who are more fortunate than me and who just can't stop the voices in their head when they say, "BUYS MEEEEE! BBBBBUUUUYYYYYYSSSSSS MMMMEEEEEEEEE!"

And lordy, all my sympathy to Jasmine and the family - I could almost cry myself to sleep thinking about how much more secure their future would have been if it weren't for your 'problem'.

I dunno, that set of Leeper Z's is probably worth a small fortune, I'd say it looks like a retirement plan to me!

Bingo! That is, if anyone has any money in the future. Folks refuse to eat hard iron like this.

Sheesh Bill, at least you could have waited until a few more people posted. I mean who's gonna follow that showing?

I did not even bother posting as I knew Bill would make us all look so feeble and useless when it comes to gear-whoring. Besides, I don't really have a gear closet, more like a gear attic and gear bins... Here's most of my standard rock rack though...

If you have a shopping cart as part of your home decor, you might have a shopping/gear whore problem...

Hmmmmm.....

Are you kidding? How can anyone be a "real" climber without the mini-shopping cart to schlep all the gear to the routes? I also have the new state of the art, spring activated, pop up flower nuts that can be seen on the top of my helmet. I bet are champion gear-ho, Bill Coe, does not even have any of those on his rack YET.
