orion_sonya Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Does anyone know if the 'caves' at Nason Ridge stay dry in the rain? I know they are steep enough, but do they seep much? ie. do you think they are a go this weekend? thanks, Orion Quote
RuMR Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 i think it'd be ok...plus, level of rain there is less than over here... Quote
Kimmo Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 i think most of the cave will be dry. i've climbed there in downpours, and the tops of some routes were wet, but the cool middle routes were all dry. unless it's really really windy of course. the caves at vantage will be dry.... Quote
Jens Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 I've only clibmed their on dry days but I was told by my buddy that if a wind picks up a bunch, you'll get wet. If their is a only a small breeze you'll find some dry real estate to climb. I'm sure others on this board would be able to give better beta. Quote
orion_sonya Posted October 6, 2008 Author Posted October 6, 2008 Thanks all- It was indeed dry and pleasant over the weekend - no seepage at all in the caves. Where have you been hiding at Kimmo? Orion Quote
