canyondweller Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 So sayeth these folks: http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/press/proved_no_climate_crisis.html On cursory review, there is some good information there. It won't matter to those who have chosen 'Global Warming' as their religion, and Algore as their corpulent priest. Quote

Peter_Puget Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 How about a Ring Angle v. Fairweather match at the next beach pub club? Quote
Peter_Puget Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 My money is on Ring. He's one bad ass motherf##@er. Quote
Fairweather Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 My money is on Ring. He's one bad ass motherf##@er. Who is this Ring Angle? And if RumR's such a Bend Oregon tough-guy, then why is he hiring a proxy only 2 minutes post-challenge? If he's just a 130lb baggie of hot air like RumR--no problem. Quote
Peter_Puget Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Ring - I can't out him but I remember well the first time I met him. He was sitting at the base of Crack A Go Go smokin' joints as fast as he could scroll them. He was a friend of a friend so I was thinking he was just another do nothing Valley stoner. We were wanking around trying to avoid the lead when he says he'd lead us up. About 15' later he was at the top of Hardd. It was so fast that if you would have blinked you'd have missed him cruise it. Looking for a rope gun we asked if he wanted to climb with us the next day. He declined saying he was going to ride his bike from the Valley to Lee Vining and back the next day. Quote
Fairweather Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I must warn you: I lead 5.5...But I thought we were gonna settle this one in the ring. :: Quote
AlpineK Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I met Ring years years before this whole internet thing was of any interest. Sorry Fairweather you wouldn't stand a chance. Quote
Fairweather Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 WHO IS RING??? AND WHY IS HE BEING RUMR's HUCKLEBERRY? Quote
Peter_Puget Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 FW - I have no idea how tough you'd be in the ring but I gotta say somefights just aren't worth it even if you do win. Once while watching a NAZI documentary we saw a clip with Adolph saying how he would make the youth "tough as leather and hard as Krupp steel." After that we use to say to each other "Ring is as leather and hard as Krupp steel." We were serious. Quote
Fairweather Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 FW - I have no idea how tought you'd be in the ring but I gotta say somefights just aren't worth it even if you do win. I am the most tought in the morning. RumR is threatening me with a bolt gun. Mods!! Quote
Peter_Puget Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Whatever FW. I've called BS on a lot of posers on cc.com but you won't see me calling BS on Ring. He's the real deal. Quote
