Yeah shit, those protesters really blew it. They had a chance to set fire to a police-state building with impunity (and tacit endorsement from the police), and all they did was turn away some kid with a backpack.

Makes me wonder what the law permits when private citizens use force to deprive you of the rights that you are entitled to under the law. Probably not much, since the presumption is that there are police who will enforce the said laws.

That does raise the question of who has the authority to enforce the law when the local police department refuses to do so.

Here's an idea: Set up Euthanasia Clinics. Put a bunch of lefties in front to block the door. The skinheads will push their way through under the pretense of protecting freedom and be euthanized inside.

I may be misremembering this, but I am pretty sure that the pres federalized the nat'l guard in order to bring them in. Sorta pulled the rug right out from under Wallace. Is this what you recall?
