ZimZam Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 When I was little my Dad umpired HS and college games. As compensation he would get tickets to St. Louis Cards games. Some of my fondest memories were watching Gibson v. Koufax, the neon cardinal fly when someone hit a homer, and eating dogs and peanuts with my Dad. When I couldn't be at Busch stadium I'd listen to Harry Carry and Jack Buck. I miss them days. I loved watching the '68 Tigers come back from being down three games to one to take the World Series from the Cardinals. Mickey Lolich ruined my childhood. Quote

The sucker even hit a home run in game seven. Quote
