tvashtarkatena
this might be the one to convince them all... no really, it might. Â This has been discussed here ad nauseum. There are only two posters left on this forum too stupid to comprehend what's been going on.
joblo7
i feel that man's incessant growth and its effect on global warming are gonna avert the next, usual cyclical ice age.

tvashtarkatena
i feel that's not true  There's a well written article in Scientific American on that very subject. Past two years, maybe? Recent ice ages, which were cyclical (caused by cyclical irregularities in the earth's precession, wobble, and orbit) were linked very closely to atmospheric CO2 and Methane content. When a significant amount of deforestation and agriculture came on the scene and began increasing those gases about 6000 years ago, the ice age cycles stopped.  Oh, God, here I go again. That's all I'm going to say on this subject. Do your own research, kids.

olyclimber
so what you're saying is that you feel like saying what your feeling as is useless, ergo you are useless. Â STOP. breath. you are a wonderful caring person, its ok if you have feelings. everyone has them, even if they deny them. you can have feeling too. olyclimber
no, i don't feel the anger feeling with you. though if i felt the need, i would let the feeling occur in me, rather than keeping it bottled up.

olyclimber
i'm looking forward to living on an island. thats what will probably happen to West Seattle. i just hope i don't have to wait too long before i have waterfront property. I should just build the dock right now. either that or get me some marble columns to keep the sky from falling on my house. olyclimber
i don't go there directly. i use an aggregator, and then share the best of the best. but this particular one was from an SNL I saw a while back and took 5 seconds to find on there.
