Placed it. Couldn't get it out. Would gladly reimburse someone if they were able to get it out without mangling it and returned it to me.

still fixed as of today - were you trying not to use the fixed pins? thought i saw it in that dihedral that has the 3 pegs...

I like to horde all my fixed pin karma for winter in case I might happen to find myself two days run out on "M-what was I thinking" terrain and the only thing between myself and buying the farm is some relic I clipped.

actually, seems like drytooling that lower crack on blownout direct might make it a hair easier, eh?

Oh yeah that thing is way fixed. Climbed that route today and that piece is there to stay. Sorry for your loss. Thanks for coming out to the boat John, it was a nice way to end a good day of climbing..

As a side note - most all of the pins folks are likely to run into out at Beacon have been checked in the past 18 months - any that were suspect or bad were either reset or replaced. I trust most of the pins way more than the protection bolts at this point.
