thelawgoddess Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 i am lame. i tried to get tickets after lunch and no dice. does anybody have an extra to sell me??? i was so planning to go. nobody could even tell me if they were going to be selling any tickets at the door. i am so suck. please pm me asap if you have an extra so i don't have to cry for real.
marylou Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I have to be at the hospital at 6am tomorrow for surgery. No movies for me. I released the comps so at least there are two more tickets for sale now.
thelawgoddess Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 *if* they're going to sell any. maybe if i just show up and stand out in this miserable downpour, someone will take pity on me. (that or i'll catch a cold!)
skykilo Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Didn't they sell tickets at the door last year? It was the same venue. That's a pretty big place. Anybody want to go drink some beer before the movie?
sprocket Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Last year they sold them at the door. I think they are this year too, jut $2 more per ticket. The place was about 60-70% full last year.
thelawgoddess Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 i got hooked up! well, not "hooked up" hooked up, but dude from the other thread called me and i'm gonna buy his ticket. i'd be down for meeting beforehand but i'm not really interested in brews. (i'm in more of a tea or pumpkin pie/spice steamer mood.) of course, it would be happy hour ...
skykilo Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Well I'm getting really hungry and tired of debugging simulations. Food? Beer? (Is there a place with food and beer that also has spiced steamers, whatever they may be?)
thelawgoddess Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 not likely. just spew the name of a place. kai's? they have happy hour food and drinks and it's on the other side of the block from the theater ... otherwise, just name a place. i wanna get outta here!
skykilo Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Yeah, I'll go to Kai's. Never been there. Twenty minutes?
thelawgoddess Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 15 now ... yeah. not sure i know you? (terrible memory here!) hopefully you know me. (long dark hair with purple streaks if you don't.)
thelawgoddess Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 that movie rocked! chris sharma on rocks ... rocks! nice to meet skykilo ... and nice to see ryanl and rumr. i so want to go climbing right now ... with my free chalk.
Hendershot Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 How about those windstopper headbands? Stocking stuffers!!!
thelawgoddess Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 How about those windstopper headbands? Stocking stuffers!!! exactly what i was thinking - except, unfortunately i didn't think of it until i was at the bar after the show. doh! i did get one though - at least one person in my family is gonna be real lucky come christmas time!
olyclimber Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I have one of those headbands from last year so I didn't need to go.
sprocket Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 The movie was cool and all and Sharma is amazing but it wasn't the same without Didier... We did get one memorable quote. "I'm not your wall bitch!" Not sure about the "scented" chalk but it is free!
