sirwoofalot
I've had pizza at Piecora's on Cap Hill a few times. It's good stuff. P I Z Z A ! ! ! I got three new places to hit. Piecora's, Zigi's and Stella's. If you don't eat pizza at least once of week you are going to die of starvation man!
dt_3pin
Zagi's is in north Ballard - 80th & 24th, so I suspect it is quicker to get to than Gtown from Edmonds. I had Mad Pizza once, and thought it was okay. For Capital Hill joints, Piecoras dominates.

ericb
Pudge Brothers on 45th in Seattle...I've only ever had their Chicken Pesto but it was quite tasty. Also, Pete's has great calzones....never needed to have their pizza. For chains, I also think Romio's is decent.

Yes, it has been a while since I have been to Pete's. Wasn't the original Pagliacci in that area near Dantes? Romi's used to be better. After growing so fast they seemed to have lost their QC. I have never been to Pudge Bro. I will have to check it out. I think Stellas is losing out to Zagi's. I drive by 84th adn 24th everyday. ARe you sure that is not 80th and 24? There is a Saprano's pizza there. I have never had their pizza.

catbirdseat
I'm dying to try some of these places because I haven't had a really good pizza since I moved to the PNW 17 years ago. The best I ever tasted was in Laguna Beach at BJ's Chicago Pizza and Brewery. That was awesome.

ken4ord
I never really did find any good pizza places in Seattle when I was living there. Hell even Kigali has two pizza joints that are better than anything I found in Seattle. Of course they are italian owned and operated. catbirdseat
I really think that the problem is Seattlites are, by and large, getting the pizza they want. Real pizza is seasoned very strongly. They don't like a strong taste. Same thing with salsa. "Medium" salsa in Seattle is called "Mild" in the Southwest.
olyclimber
"real pizza"? really???? is this like the shadows in the cave? obviously real does not equal authentic. let me tell you what else about Seattlites: they're always making broad mischaracterizations. catbirdseat
Naturally, "real" pizza is the kind I like. Fake pizza is the kind someone else likes. There, how's that?

Actually my goal is to taste every differant kind of pizza ever made so I can understand the "real pizza" in the fullness of Pizzaness, instead of the Shadow on the wall theory.
