olyclimber Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Went up to Mid Wall on Saturday with Jeff and Wounded Alpinfox. Late start, sweating out the licker/hangover on the hike up. Cleaned up Keiths Crack (way out of my league right now). Got on Stems and Leaves, Flee Fly Flue, and Plum Pudding. Alpinistic Fox from Olympia had the camera, so I ain't posting any pics. If you dropped a wire brush on the trail, we found it, used it, and left it at the bottom of the longer stairs. Quote
MCash Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Nice, fun spot up there with no crowds. Plum Pudding is a fantastic route! Quote

lunger Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Hansel; so hot right now. which route(s) has(ve) the cool-looking chimneys and squeezes? nice day on the upper walls yesterday, despite some mugginess. Quote
olyclimber Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 three and four is flee fly flue last is stems and leaves Quote
MCash Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 That looks fun....what is that? That's Plum Pudding. 10a according to the Cummins guide and 5.9 according to Sky Valley Rock. A 4 star pitch, bring a bunch of small camming units, doubles at a minimum. Quote
olyclimber Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 it takes smaller gear than what sky valley rock mentions Quote
