KaskadskyjKozak Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I think Ride the Lightening and Master of Puppets are my faves. Fer sure!!! and justice was the first album that marked the demise of metallica, just sucked. I saw slayer last year, couldnt decide who was funner to watch: the crowd or the band Yeah right. "One", "Blackened", "The Shortest Straw" just suck. Quote
sk Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 i miss all the CD's i used to have access too. someday i am going to have to replace them. i haven't listened to metalica in ages. Quote
jmace Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 It was the beginning of the end, most people like that album cause it was the first time they heard Metallica. Quote

I have to get my And Justice fix at least once a week. when i was married we had hundreds of CD's I think i have about 20 now. there have been so many other things that i needed that was one of the things that kinda fell through the "I don't really NEED that" cracks. I miss Nirvana too. Quote

KaskadskyjKozak Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 It was the beginning of the end, most people like that album cause it was the first time they heard Metallica. Well, I've listened to them from "the beginning" and the album rocks. Quote
RogerJ Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 one of the best shows i ever saw was: Back in my younger days (late 70's early 80's), I had a buddy who wrote for the "Coolest Retard" magazine out of Chicago. He used to get us backstage passes to all sorts of shows in Milwaukie (at some small club). We saw and partied with The Damned, Flipper, Husker Du, X, Gun Club etc etc.... Ah the good old days.... -r Quote
kevbone Posted May 29, 2007 Author Posted May 29, 2007 In 1992 I was 19 and I went to Lala Palooza in Bremerton at the fair grounds. Lush Pearl Jam Jesus and the Mary chain Ministry Soundgarden Ice Cube Red Hot Chili Peppers Holy shit was that a great concert. I just remember being so tired. 9 hours is a long time to stand. Anyone up there remember that concert or go to it? Quote
drater Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Nobody has mentioned Kill Em All? WTF? running, ought to be hiding searching, seek and destroy Almost without fail, every bands first release is their best. Why? Because its the best of all of their accumulated material up until that point. If the record sells, they get to try and do it again in less than a year. Kill Em All Cowboys From Hell Bleach Ten I'll stop now... Quote
kevbone Posted May 29, 2007 Author Posted May 29, 2007 Cowboys From Hell CFH is good but does not compare with Vulgar Display of Power. IMO Quote

IMO Cowboys From Hell Primal Concrete Sledge Psycho Holiday Heresy Cemetary Gates Domination Shattered Clash With Reality Medicine Man Message In Blood Vulgar is fucking rad too. Maybe Exhibit 1 and 1a in this instance. Quote

fenderfour Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 I have a highschool buddy who introduced me to Slayer (I was a late bloomer). We would lsiten to Seasons in the Abyss while playing video games. Every time "Dead Skin Mask" came on, we woudl stop playing, thinking that an ambient effect in the song was one of his parents summoning him. "I keep my bible in a pool of blood so that none of it's lies can infect me!" Good times... good times. Quote
