Sherri Posted May 1, 2007 Author Posted May 1, 2007 (edited) Incidence of Lyme Disease in the US, per 100,000 persons: Hey thanks, JayB. That puts it in perspective, for sure. (Back to watching for the snakes. And taun-tauns.) Edited May 1, 2007 by Sherri Quote
AlpineK Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 That chart is kind of interesting. I remember when I was living in North Idaho south of the area with a noted rize in tick activity. I remember there being tons of ticks there; definitely way more than I've ever seen around here. Quote
drater Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Tons of ticks out here, although doesn't seem like anymore than EWash which is showing no cases of limes disease? Strange. Quote
JayB Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Thanks Jay. Just another reason for moving. Yup. Number 187,926,340,879,127,489,217,498,072,134,798,012,374,897,213,89,742. Quote
G-spotter Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Those anomalous areas of the western states are more to do with low population than fecund ticks. If you've only got 3 people in the county and one of em gets Lyme disease its a major epidemic! Quote
