Ballo
I'm dying to get back on the rock! I'd like to get to know the local crags for weekend climbing. This summer I'll probably go to Smith every other weekend. I don't care if the rain is spitting, I'm used to climbing in sub-par weather. This winter, I've climbed with snow-melt splashing on my face. I just want to get out there before I turn into a complete sack of crap. My head gasket blew so I guess my mantra for the time being is: "Have shoes, will travel!"
JayB
Hey Ballo: Check the messages in the Climbing Partners Forum, and/or put up a post with some plans of your own and you should have no problem hooking up with folks. Quite a few of the regulars on this site live in Portland.

Assuming you're a nice person and give good belay: join in. Some folks ride bicycles it's that close to the butte.

Ballo
I haven't done alpine, but I'm game if you have some extra gear. I've mostly done sport and some trad. I don't know how close to anything I am as I'm in Vancouver. My head gasket blew so I may need a ride for the final leg. I don't think C-tran goes to many places south of the river. I don't know the area well enough to know. AIM me at sanarkhos or mail me.
