Question!

I just had a child and am not sure about vaccinations. Anyone know the law in Washington State about public schools. Will I be able to send my child there without vaccinating? Do I have to sign a form releasing me for religious reasons? I know this is a touchy subject. Not trying to spew my personal opinions, just trying to find out if any other parents have tread on this touchy doorstep?

Thanks.

If you don't want to get them vaccinated maybe you'd be better off homeschooling them too. They might learn something at a public school and then they might end up smarter than you.

My first choice would be to home school; unfortunately this is not an option. Paying for a private school is not an option as well. Sure does not leave us with a lot to choose from. G-spotter, you have children?

strumpett-- i am not going to open the "why" or "why not" vaccinate can of worms. as a parent and someone working in research related to vaccines, I can not endorse your failure to vaccinate.
However if it's for religious reasons they'd be happy to open that can, chew them up, and crap them out all over you.
