Group of ice climbers is looking for ice climber to make even number.

Be able to leave PDX (or meet us some where along the way) either Tuesday 21st (late) or Thursday 23rd (very early) for Hyalite (most likely) or Cody.

Have your own gear. Preference will be given to experience but if you are a motivated newbie we might be able to work something out.

Dude you know it isn't about which area is better... it's about which one has more stuff in. If everything was in every where I would stay in PDX and climb in the gorge... or I'd go here:

Check montanaice.com and call Aaron and then tell me if you still think Cody is a better pick over Hyalite for Thanksgiving weekend.

I'll give you a hint: smear today gone tomorrow got its second ascent this year wave.gif

John, go to Cody, it is only a couple hours farther, and much better then Hylaite, unless you want mixed climbing.

Have fun!

Dude hyalite is going off. I was able to climb Zack attack, upper mummy's yeasterday and the day before and Diaecltric Breakdown two weeks ago. Things are coming in that never come in and they are getting bigger.

Meaning you take the rack, rope, draws, and beer to the climb and back while pulling the sled that I am sitting in. yelrotflmao.gif

Assuming forecast for PNW delivers the predicted warm/wet suckness and Hyalite Canyon road stays in I am currently looking for carpooling partners for most likely Hyalite.

Be able to leave PDX late late Thursday (2/15) night or Friday morning and return late Monday (2/19) morning. :snugtop:

Bring your own partner/gear/etc

PM or call me and we can discuss the details 503.758.5772

the canyon is a few 1000' higher than bozeman... the canyon also holds a lot of cold air...

i have a few friends in bozeman and will be checking ice/road conditions throughout the week

weather.com is teh suck for predicting anything however if it turns out that it is that warm alpine ice in MT or ID would likely be muy bueno
