spicoli11 Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Gad zukes!!!!!!!!! How long will it take to fix the bridge with all the other stuff going on? Quote
MisterMo Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Everyone, including loaded trucks, was merrily driving back and forth over that void until yesterday afternoon when the water receded enough to crawl down and look. Should hopefully be passable to traffic by Friday, though riprapping the seaward side of the abutment will take longer. Snohomish County Public Works response has been more than excellent. They are on my good list forever. Quote
archenemy Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I see that you got a pic of Kurt and Kay's house there. Are both their dogs okay? Quote
archenemy Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Blowing this out of proportion? The road to my home is gone. My neighbors' homes are gone. Some of my friends' cars are gone. And also,I won't be able to go fishing for a bit. thank god for the sun today! but you have time and desire to spray?! Not only that, but I have the time and desire to award you with the supreme self-righteous, judgemental asshole of the year trophy. Congratulations. Quote
archenemy Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Yes, to the best of my knowledge. Good to hear--see you tomorrow! Quote
kurthicks Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 it just seems to me that with such important events going on, there might be things that took presidence over logging onto cc. alternately, I understand how this can be a stress release. Quote
ivan Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 funny - back in appalachia i wouldn't give this house a second look - afterall, looks no different then it does the other 364 normal days out of the year the prayer flags instead of stars n' bars totally ruins the illusion though Quote
