Jens Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 What are the lower offs that have the best potential for huge rope swings? The scarface one at smith looks cool but is way outta my league to get it set up. Others the Drip wall at leavenworth has an awesome one as do both the world walls at 32. Any other really good ones? The grandaddy of them all would be to fix a huge one just for fun on the lip of the roof on colchuck balanced rock. I heard their used to be one on the visor up the icicle. Quote
Dr_Flush_Amazing Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 The Powerline/Karate Krack wall is almost as good as the classic "King Swing". You can set it up by climbing Cin Slab and walking around. 70m rope. Quote
David Trippett Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 The swing at Chekamus.... off of the Division Bell chains at the Big Show....that's a fun one! You just need to find someone who sends .13d to put up the rope Quote
G-spotter Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 The scarface one at smith looks cool but is way outta my league to get it set up. Â all you need is a grigri and a cheater stick Quote
archenemy Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 The swing out over Hebgen Lake is a blast! Quote
ryland_moore Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 AN even better one at Smith is a "king swing" off of the platform across from Monkey Face with anchors in the mouth of the monkey or just above the short 5.5 pitch. Just jump off the diving board across from the mouth and hold on! Quote
StreetBoss Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Lower off of Magic Light at Smith and clean it on the way down...after the last draw....ahhh watch out for that tree. hehehehehe Quote
John Frieh Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 The swing out over Hebgen Lake is a blast! Â Funny... I consistently get the same response about the one over my bed Quote

Just jump off the diving board across from the mouth and hold on! Wow! that sounds wild! What kind of forces do some of these swings we've been talkng about create on ropes, harnesses, and anchors? Is it not much, or iis it enough to really stress gear? Quote
