kevbone Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 This site is getting boring. Time to spruce it up. RuMR you suck. Just kidding! At my local crag. Someone removed a pin on a classic route and did not replace it. Well I have no real problem with this because there is great gear there. But does is start a precedent of adding or removing gear on someone else’s route? Where does it end? Golden rule: never screw with someone else’ route without permission. NEVER! Quote
Cobra_Commander Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I wonder where that could be Quote
G-spotter Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 If I fall on your crappy rusty pin and it pulls out, Why should I have to replace it? It's your mank on your route. If I fell on a bolt on your route and it broke would you want me to replace it too? Just put some fucking good hardware in in the first place. Duh. Quote
Mos_Chillin Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Kevbone your trolling is borrriiinnngg! It's been done, used up, and turned into Pope's Theme Park. Newbies. Trying to reinvent the wheel... Quote

StevenSeagal Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 When kevbone adds a bolt to someone else's route, and no one is there to see it, does it make a sound? Quote
Dechristo Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 No, he uses the glue he sniffs to affix it. Quote
kevbone Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 When Stevenseagal posts on the web and nobody is there to read it, does he cry all night about it? Yes! Quote
kevbone Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 Hey cristo crack, how's is going? How are the roids treating you. Are you having trouble backing into mr. segal? Quote
billcoe Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 No, he uses the glue he sniffs to affix it. Kev, how did the glue work out BTW? Remember the chain someone ripped off at Rocky Butte I posted the other day? I took another chain and used that anerobic threadlocker on it when I replaced it. Looking at it, I figured that a dickwad with a wrench would crank it and make the whole bolt spin, so then, in a moment of weakness, I ran to home depot and bought that grey epoxy JH has been using and I totally covered that nut/stud/washer and part of the chain with epoxy and seated rocks inside to make cutting it off more difficult. Point is, I never saw how the threadlocker worked. Hope it worked for you. Quote
kevbone Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 Bill thanks a lot for the stuff. I have not had time to get out and apply it yet. I plan on in this weekend. It’s on an overhanging route. Not looking forward to that kind of work. Quote
Dechristo Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 How are the roids treating you. You not even a minor irritation. Quote
