wscottf
I remember hearing about a group that attempted all of Washington's volcanoes in 5 days. Does anyone know if this has actually been done?
scottgg
I know that a team recently attempted to climb Rainier, Hood, and Adams in 24 hours, and I think they were successful...
pms
this is absolutley not possible. Impossible I say. Particularly for Skykilo.
ashw_justin
Does St. Helens count?
wscottf
Well, when I heard about this being attempted you could still climb St. Helens so yes St. Helens does (did) count.
ashw_justin
Somebody should have done 6 volcanoes in 6 days starting on 6/1/06.

faster_than_you
You guys are venturing into the shadowy-underworld of speed climbing... Post cautiously...
griz
yeah,i don't think it would be a very special acheivement. my first climbing trip up there was for a bluebird sky week in Sept and I soloed Hood, Adams, Baker and Helen's in 6 days. Not trying for any stupid speed thing, for sure. just climbing and moving to the next mtn while the weather was good. Baker was the only one that seemed abit more than a day hike and was the last one before it turned to crap weather again. Big thing is just having some good weather for a week. After living in that shithole called the PNW some years later,I realized how lucky I was to get that good weather window.
G-spotter
we're not talking about fat chicks wayne And, like fat chicks, slogging up volcanoes is something that you shouldn't brag about doing, no matter how fast you are.
