EWolfe Posted April 17, 2006 Author Posted April 17, 2006 I bet it is wayyyy headier than either of them. You know what they say: "If it is not Scottish, IT'S CRAP!" Quote
magellan Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 MacLeod took at least eight 50-foot falls onto small nuts before completing the climb How hard could that be? Quote
billcoe Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 MacLeod took at least eight 50-foot falls onto small nuts before completing the climb How hard could that be? Wait, is there a line forming now, right here, to do this thing? I'm bringing my lawn chair, a pitcher of margeritas and a camera to this event. Quote
G-spotter Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 You'd get lost trying to find scotland so I doubt it Quote
billcoe Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 You'd get lost trying to find scotland so I doubt it Well, thats a damn rude slap in the face Dru. So I'm an American. It's true. It's also true that we're lucky if we know where Kansas is (I don't know). Where is Scotland? Is that the little climbing area near the Gunks or that other one in S. dakota somewhere over by kansas I bet. Quote
Alpinfox Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Where is Scotland? I think Scotland is one of those places where they talk funny, so I bet it's near Alabama or Boston. Quote
dalius Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 I bet it is wayyyy headier than either of them. You know what they say: "If it is not Scottish, IT'S CRAP!" I think the Scottish motto is actually: "If it ain't gritstone, it's crap!" Quote
dom Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 The route is F8c/8c+ which i think is equivalent to 5.14b/c with the prospect of a 70ft whipper on RPs. He fell 9 times before completing the route! Gritstone is in England not Scotland. Quote
