crazyjizzy Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Why do people here whine and cry about posters that bother or bore them? If it involves civil discourse, and no threats of violence, what is wrong with using the ignore feature. Are you all a bunch of bored baby cube-rats? Frigging grow up. Quote
EWolfe Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 It about control. Rather than 'ignore' a particular user, they will try to control that person, bring them around to "their way of thinking" under the ruse of discourse. This can persist to the point of blow-up. Also, many can't stand missing a single thing, even if it drives them crazy. Quote
layton Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 if I post something ungodly offensive you want to ignore, will it block MisterE too? He tells me to do things. What's that? No MisterE, I won't write that! Stop! Get out of my head! Quote
