archenemy Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 there are folks who have fetishes for fat people. and why don't we start posting more pictures of men with their beer guts and talking about how sexy they aren't. I wouldn't even consider that fluff. Quote
sobo Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 ...and why don't we start posting more pictures of men with their beer guts and talking about how sexy they aren't. I wouldn't even consider that fluff. OK, here ya go... Quote
archenemy Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 That belongs in the self-parody thread. Quote
espirita Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 there are folks who have fetishes for fat people. "Chubby Chasers" Quote
archenemy Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I think they are called "feeders". I am being dead serious on this. Quote
Kitergal Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 My girlfriend is a total chubby chaser!! she's a thin, hot chick..and she only likes chubby men! Everyone teases her about it too. she seriously...won't give fit men the time of day! Pretty entertaining really!! Quote
archenemy Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Hilarious. Especially since men with bigger guts must effectively have smaller dicks--don't they? Quote
Kitergal Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I would think so. I mean..it makes sense afterall!! Quote
espirita Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Is it "feeder" as in "feeder fish"? I haven't heard that term used before. Quote
knotzen Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 My girlfriend is a total chubby chaser!! she's a thin, hot chick..and she only likes chubby men! Everyone teases her about it too. she seriously...won't give fit men the time of day! Pretty entertaining really!! Well, there's more to, um, hold onto, I imagine. Quote
knotzen Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Or maybe she was a cowgirl in a previous life, and that just feels natural! Quote
archenemy Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 "feeder" as in "feed her more" I guess. I don't really know. I am a little more familiar with "diet" as in "I will die if I don't get it". The whole fat thing is baffling. I read Fastfood Nation and got a lot better insight into our culture and our economics around overeating. Good reading--you will never eat shitty food again after you read this book. Quote
Kitergal Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 That book was amazing. Unfortunately..i still eat at McD's..yes..even after reading the book...BUT...I do it a LOT less..and I know exactly how bad of crap I'm putting into my body. The chemicals..that cause the smell, that in turn cause your tastebuds to taste..yeah..that part of the book..still gets to me. ohh..and the slaughter house chapters...Almost couldn't get through those!! Quote
catbirdseat Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Discuss Perhaps we Americans and the Europeans are no longer so different? MacDonalds has worked it's magic. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 I read Fastfood Nation and got a lot better insight into our culture and our economics around overeating. Good reading--you will never eat shitty food again after you read this book. I held the same conviction after reading it...for about a week, when I started slinking back to Taco Bell for my beef soft taco fix. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 ohh..and the slaughter house chapters...Almost couldn't get through those!! Do NOT see the movie. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 I always knew I was Left leaning, but... Quote
enelson Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Big people need to eat less and exercise more... Ahhh, more evidence of "tolerance", and what happened to the holy grail of "diversity". More evidence that those who espouse these goals are paying a bunch of lip service backed by no convictions whatsoever. i don't think it's about being intolerant or something, just that it is unhealthy and maybe they should be treating their bodies with respect. same reason i would never suggest anyone start posting on this website, though i keep coming back, just like beef soft tacos. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Besides, gluttony is a sin. But then again so are pride, lust, anger, and sloth. Fuck it. We're all going down. Quote
Dechristo Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Showing your buttfloss isn't cool, no matter who you are or where you're from. umm why? Why would you want your underwear to be visible to the public?!?! I mean really!! which is worse...the underwear sightings or the plumbers crack sightings? They seem to be just as common these days!! UGGG!! I suspect this is a staged photo as the guy's wearing an electrician's tool belt and moving masonry block: you'd almost never see an electrician doing that. Quote
catbirdseat Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 I guess everyone is missing the point. The point is that the premise of the original post was that Americans should be more like the Europeans who eat healthy diets and either walk or bike to work. Now we read that the Europeans over the past ten years have adopted our unhealthy ways. They are abandoning the healthy meals in favor of the imported fast food joints. It's just really sad and I hope that this trend can be reversed. Quote
