Chaps Posted June 10, 2005 Author Posted June 10, 2005 There is more where that came from. I can be funny if I want to be. Minnesota isn't all serious. We like to have fun too. Quote
Ireneo_Funes Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Believe me, I know. The twenty-five years I spent in the land of 10,000 lakes was like one long laugh riot. Quote
Cobra_Commander Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 You appear to be a living parody of Minnesota. You only dig yourself deeper into the hole with each comment. You probably can't respond right now because your up fishing at Mille Lacs. Quote
Cobra_Commander Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 P.S. I shed a tear for any ski gear that has to sit in Midwest Mountaineering, longing for a hill - any hill - to spread its wings. Quote
Dechristo Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 There is more where that came from. I can be funny if I want to be... when I'm alone... in my bedroom... with my hand-puppets... ahem... Minnesota isn't all serious. We like to have fun too, but our puerile puritanical prudence restricts our abilities. Will you guys have pity and show me how to break free from the bondage? Quote
mec Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 lighten up Chaps... We aren't rippin on Minnesota (well maybe the lack of mountains there). Quote

Afton Alps has some pretty sweet hills! Or you could always head north to Lutsen.  Or my personal favorite: Hillbilly Hills of St Joseph. One gently sloping hill nearly 1/32nd of a mile from the summit to the bottom. Only 5 minutes away from my in-laws' place. Quote
