RuMR Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 ...pollywoggin'? I've got a 6 year old and a 3 year old and want to find some tadpoles for them to watch.... Quote
TrogdortheBurninator Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 When CBS and I were out in Darrington about a month ago, there were a bunch of mating frogs and eggs in the drainage along the side of the road. If things didnt dry out to much, you could probably walk along the road a find a ton of em. Quote
kenp Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Dude check out Green Lake, around the edge. I don't know if it's been warm enough for long enough tho...there is a pond where I work that gets millions of tadpoles, I checked it out Tuesday and yesterday...a few bullfrogs were out but no sign of pollywogs yet, didn't see any slimey egg clusters either. I think about the time the lillypads start growing, they will be here. Might have to travel to Wenatchee! Quote
bigwalling Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 you should buy them a horned frog! It eats mice too. And they would have it till they moved out. Oh but they can't really hold it!!! But a really good pet if they like the frog thing. Quote
RuMR Posted April 29, 2005 Author Posted April 29, 2005 Neverland fuckoff you misearable shit... Quote
Dr_Flash_Amazing Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 People who need to ask where to go pollywogging are lame. Truly core pollywoggers simply know where to go just by being who they are. Quote
MisterMo Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Yer a climber aren't you? Go to lower Index Town Wall & wander up the RR tracks a squinch past the hole in the wall. Frogs & pollywogs galore........beevers........mosquiteers......wood ducks.......whole food chain. Quote
Rad Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 Saw a bundle the other day in puddles along the Monte Cristo Rd within 3/4 mile of the gate, croaking away. Quote
