Yeah, my boss is definitely not that bad.

He's just a homophobic, xenophobic, anti semitic, Gay bashing, right wing conspiracy nut, wife cheatin, strip club goin', short, insecure, desperate, lonely, miserable little man. But he'd never feed anybody to lions. That's too far.

My boss loves the "F" bomb. Once, during a meeting, I made a hash mark on my legal pad every time fuck, or a variant thereof was uttered forth from his vile hole. After one hour, the count topped out at twenty-two. He loves throwing papers, folders, journals as well. A real class act, he.

 

One of our female reps took exception to his methods and contacted personnel about a year ago. After a very short meeting she was told, "unfortunately, there's no rule against being an asshole." Strangely enough, she soon developed performance issues and was encouraged to seek other employment.

My old boss didn't have problems with foul language, but he really didn't like it when people said the words, "free lunch". If you were so unfortunate to say those words, you had to put a dollar in the beer fund.

My boss is a pretty cool guy too. And he used to climb. When I mentioned that I wanted to go to Bolivia for three weeks last year his reply was "have a great time and bring back lots of pictures."

 

Now if I could get that raise I want!

My boss works in a different building- in fact a different city. I'm as free as a bird! All I have to do is keep my clients happy and there is nothing to worry about. My boss is happy as long as my clients are happy.

Freebirdseat--you are soooo lucky! I am surprised I don't have to share the same chair with my boss. Gotta go, someone's breathing down my neck. Yeesh.
