freeclimb9
Brighton Ski resort opened, let's see, today. If you guys were serious about skiing, you'd live closer to snow.
skykilo
If you were serious about skiing, you'd live somewhere that you could make a nonstop 10,000 vertical foot descent when the shit hits in the spring. Word.
freeclimb9
yea for Spring skiing! Only 5 months to go. Personally, I'm not that serious about any snow sport. Not like some of the pinheads and backcountry avi poodles that live at the base of the Wasatch. Believe the hype about Utah's Greatest Snow on Earth. I'll grab my board and ride only when it's deep. Closest "resort" is 35 miles from my front door. But for the cra-cra spring skiing, get your ass up to Viledisease, or Cordova.

skykilo
I think I'll stay right here. Nothing like talking a little smack to get me off my ass, though. I'm skiing freshiez this weekend, goddammit! Sure, it's never what Utahans would call 'pow,' but it's good enough for me.

What are you waiting for? yeah, but at least out west, when you show up at a ski hill you aren't confused whether you should pull out crampons or your boards. our freshies fall 200" deep and feather light in north idaho, so it's worth the wait!
