randobanjo
Hi all. Has anyone retrofitted their Black Diamond Turbo screws with the Omega Pacific grinder knobs? Do they fit? Any and all info is appreciated. Thanks...
sobo
Yes. No. Well, not really "no" per se, but they don't fit well. Mebbe a spot of crazy glue on the threads, but when they finally fell off, I liked them better without the grinders after all. YMMV
Don_Serl
i retroed several of my old BDs this way. take a file to the outer edge of the hanger to let the grinder fit deeply enuf so the threads will bite. cheers,

dbb
dang it don, you're going crazy with the files on your ice gear! but I think you may have something there...
chriss
I too fit some to my BD screws. I took the file to the cheap aluminum knob and not the expensive load bearing screw. Just deepen the slot in the knob. Can use the dremel here. Takes a couple of minutes. Draw back is the clip hole in the screw is not that big to begin with and the knob takes up some of the space. chris

Keithish
Yeah they work pretty well (few seasons now) if you simply epoxy them in place and leave out the bottom screw-on part (and forget about taking a file to your screw hangers!!)
