Double_E Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 sounds like someone's been watching too many James Bond movies. Quote
Double_E Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 not that i know of, but i seems like something that would happen in a Bond film.... i guess the first image it conjured in my head was Jaws from Moonraker. Quote
EWolfe Posted January 17, 2005 Author Posted January 17, 2005 ..unless it is not a twist-top. Then that technique can be entertaining. Quote
snoboy Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 twist Not super creative... Reallly?? I think the guy who invented the twist top was quite creative. Thinking outside the bottle, to coin a phrase. Quote
Dru Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 quantum teleportation of beer molecules from inside bottle to mouth. astound your friends with the sealed but empty bottle. Quote
Ducknut Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 bumper hitch, edge of any table or counter, nut tool, sign post, fence post I did have champagne at a place called "The Fort" in Golden, Colorado that opened all the bottles with a hatchet. Waste of good champagne if you ask me. Quote
tshimko Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 Put bottle in sock, slam against wall or rock, catch beer in cup, the sock straining out the glass shards. Very fast, requires no tools. Quote
EWolfe Posted January 17, 2005 Author Posted January 17, 2005 That's great! Unless it's a dirty sock!! Quote
griz Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 I've always admired a woman who can open a twisty between her boobs... I've REALLY admired a woman who can open a twisty with her ****BLEEP*****... Quote
EWolfe Posted January 17, 2005 Author Posted January 17, 2005 twist Not super creative... Reallly?? I think the guy who invented the twist top was quite creative. Thinking outside the bottle, to coin a phrase. Does that mean you have to crawl out of the bottle to initiate that thinking process? My God, I am so lost out of the gate. Quote
carolyn Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 I had a creative way to open a bottle of beer just recently...unfortunately I cant remember what it was! Quote
ScottP Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 Sharp-toothed key: Place the side of the key against the bottle neck. Place a tooth under the serrated edge of the cap. Place thumb against key. Twist the key toward you like you are opening a lock. It takes two or three placements to get it open, but if you get it right, the cap flies off and lands in someone else's lap. Quote
Double_E Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 hahaha. i've never got the "fly off and land in someone else's lap" part down, but yeah, the key technique ain't too bad when ya get the hang of it. Quote
Greta Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 Sink the cap in your forearm and twist. You'll look pretty badasssss when you do this, so be prepared for the chicks to swarm. Make sure its a twist-top, though, cause they'll be just as quick to leave you bleeding on the kitchen floor, laughing their asses off. Also doesnt work too well when you're pumped. Quote
